James "Jim" Thornton
Innovative Health & Benefits Solutions founder and principal owner, James “Jim” Thornton, started the company in 2004 after having worked in a local Savannah based hospital system for many years. Jim’s strong desire to improve the access for individuals and businesses to health insurance products is the cornerstone that the company was built upon. This same desire and passion are evident through Jim’s work daily. After almost 20 years Jim & his business have earned the respect of the community and those he works with. Jim is an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Skidaway Island and Rotary South. In his spare time Jim enjoys spending time with his family, boating and traveling. Sam Thornton
Sam is the Sales Manager of Innovative Health & Benefits Solutions. He is a graduate of East Georgia State College where he majored in Business Administration & Management. He joined the company in 2019. As the Sales Manager, Sam works side by side with Jim ensuring each Innovative Health & Benefits Solutions client receives the insurance coverage they need along with the absolute best in customer service. Whether you are an individual looking for insurance coverage or a business owner looking to add group health benefits for your employees, Sam is here to provide the support and resources you need. His commitment to the clients of Innovative Health & Benefits Solutions is evident in his everyday interactions. Sam is an active member of the Savannah Jaycees and Kiwanis Club of Savannah. Trice Thornton
Trice joined the company in 2021 after relocating his family back to the Savannah area. Although Trice leads our personal Property & Casualty division, Thornton Insurance Partners, he is also dually licensed to sell Health and Life insurance products as well . His extensive knowledge of insurance products & carriers along with his experience working throughout the state of Georgia allows us to offer a comprehensive level of customer service to our clients. By working with multiple carriers Trice is able to customize options and find products best suited to meet your individual Property & Casualty and Health & Life insurance needs. Thomas is a Savannah native and attended Georgia Southern University. Although he is new to the insurance industry, he is eager to earn the respect of new and established clients.
